Using the veil is easy and very comfortable. There are several styles to suit the occasion: casual, professional or outing.

You can use an "Inner Hijab" which is a small khimar worn under a larger veil, this covers the head, neck and chest areas so they do not show if the veil should slip off. They come in various colors and you can use them creatively to achieve nice color combinations with different veils.

1. Put on the inner hijab and drape your veil over it with one side shorter.

2. Wrap the short end under your chin, covering the neck area and pin it to the inner hijab behind your ear.

3. You can pin the longer end close to the 1st pin, this helps make it more secure.

4. Wrap the longer side under your chin and over your head to come back to the opposite end again. Then pin this again.

5. This is the finished look, which is loose yet covered and secured.xxx

Great hair is indeed possible, once you understand your hair. We all crave to have healthy, longer, shinier hair, so read on and be on your way to understanding what your hair needs and could do without. Basically, we have 2 types on hair on our body: Vellus hair which is found all over our body, on the upper lip and forehead. It is very fine and short hair which is usually not colored (un-pigmented, usually translucent) and doesn't grow longer than 2cm. This hair has just 2 layers: the cortex and cuticle. Terminal hair which is the longer, coarser, pigmented hair that grows on our scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, armpits and groin.
