July Project - 12 Months of Knitting 🧶

Twists & Texture Welcome to July! If lace and eyelets felt delicate and airy, this month’s project is all about texture and movement . Our July square introduces one of knitting’s most magical techniques: cables . Cables may look complicated, but they’re simply stitches worked in a different order to create beautiful twists and braids. By the end of this project, you’ll have knitted a lovely braided cable and discovered that some of the most impressive-looking knitting techniques are often easier than they appear. This Month’s Project Braided Cable Square A textured square featuring a gentle braided cable running through the centre. What You’ll Learn By the end of this project, you’ll be able to: ✅ Work a simple cable. ✅ Read cable instructions. ✅ Create raised textured fabric. ✅ Understand how changing stitch order creates decorative designs. ✅ Knit a beautiful braided motif. Take your time, trust the process, and enjoy watching the twists grow row by row. Happy kni...

🧶  APRIL 2026 Stockinette Frame Square 💛  Welcome to April In March, you learned how to follow a pattern. In April, you begin to understand your fabric. February Project - 12 Months of Knitting with Adonmu

If January felt slow or unfinished, this project is your fresh start. February’s Project is designed to be small, wearable and confidence-building - something you can complete without pressure, and actually use. This month we are learning the Purl Stitch and how it works with the Knit Stitch to create Ribbing . Ribbed fabric is stretchy, forgiving, and perfect for beginners who are still finding their rhythm. Ribbing stretches - so does confidence! Your February Project is a twisted ribbed headband - a simple accessory that looks polished but is built from just two stitches.  There’s no rush to finish; the goal is to get comfortable switching between Knit and Purl and to enjoy watching the fabric come to life in your hands.  If your stitches aren’t perfect, that’s okay. Ribbing is kind. It stretches, it relaxes, and it improves as you go. By the end of this project you’ll have a finished headband and a new skill that opens the door to many more patterns ahead! To join Regist...
