OVAL
This face shape is considered as the “ideal” face shape since it

rounded or full. However, we all need to remember that each one of use is
beautiful thus what’s with the “Ideal face shape” thing?

SQUARE
The
square face shape and the round face shape are the most common face-shapes. The
square face has the forehead, cheeks and jawline equal, it does not narrow towards the forehead, nor towards the jawline. The
face may also look angular, that means that the jawline may appear
sharply-angled at the corners. The forehead may also be squared off.
ROUND
Round face shapes are exactly as they sound: ROUND. The widest
point is across the cheekbones, narrowing a little at the forehead and the jawline.
There are no angular features on this face shape at all and it is wider than
the typical oval or oblong face, and it usually has a rounded forehead and chin, with wide full cheeks.
TRIANGLE or PEAR
The
triangle or pear shaped face has a narrow forehead, then the cheekbones and jawline are wide. That
means the forehead, cheeks and eye area is narrower than the jaw area. The jawline
may also be angular or rounded. Sometimes this face shape is grouped with the
heart/inverted triangle face shape.
The
heart shaped face is sometimes called the inverted triangle, particularly if
the hairline doesn't come to a point on the forehead. This face shape is the
opposite of the triangle or pear; it has a wide forehead and cheekbone, and then narrows
toward the jawline and chin. The jaw is the most narrow area of the face. This face may be angular or more rounded.
OBLONG
The
oblong face shape is rectangular, and has similar qualities as the oval face
shape except that it's longer and narrower. It sometimes tends to be angular. Oblong
faces are pretty straight, with a high forehead and the cheekbones are not any or much wider than the
forehead and jawline.
DIAMOND
Diamond
face shapes are not so common. They are characterized by a narrow forehead and
jawline, with the cheekbones being the widest point of the face. The cheekbones
are often high and defined on this face shape.
