October Project - 12 Months of Knitting

October: Hope in Every Stitch

A new month, a new square. 🧶✨

For October, we’re exploring a simple geometric design made from two chevrons repeated across the panel. It has texture, movement and just enough pattern to make it interesting — without making it unnecessarily complicated.

This month is about building confidence through repetition.

You’ll work with familiar knit and purl stitches to create a pattern that gradually takes shape as you knit. No cables, no complicated lace and no special techniques — just careful stitching and watching a beautiful design emerge.

🌿 This month’s focus

Pattern: Stacked Chevron
Skill level: Beginner–Intermediate
Techniques: Knit, purl and pattern repetition
Needles: As specified in your kit/pattern
Project: One knitted panel for your growing collection

The beauty of this project is that you don’t have to master everything at once.

One row. One repeat. One stitch at a time.

And by the time you reach the end, you’ll have something beautiful to show for it.

💚 A little October encouragement

Don’t be tempted to rush through the pattern because it looks simple.

Sometimes the simplest patterns teach us the most — about tension, consistency, reading our stitches and trusting the process.

Keep going. Your stitches don’t have to be perfect to become something beautiful.
