This month we're slowing down and enjoying one of knitting's most loved textures: Moss Stitch.

At first glance, it looks like tiny pebbles scattered across a meadow, creating a soft, richly textured fabric that lies beautifully flat. The best part? It's made using only knit and purl stitches.

Moss stitch teaches you to read your knitting, recognise each stitch, and build a steady rhythm—an important skill that will make future projects even easier.

One stitch at a time, your meadow will grow.
