Naturally Beautiful - Your Healthy Face

Taking care of your face helps keep it healthy and vibrant so you don't need to use many face care products that contain chemicals (most don't work anyway).
With only a few simple steps you are on your way to a naturally healthy and beautiful lovely face.


Keep Your Face Clean

Wash your face regularly with a mild face soap (check that you are not using a detergent-based soap) at least once a day, or in the morning and the evening to remove oil, dirt and makeup which clog your pores and let bacteria attack - leading to breakout, irritation and dullness.
Use warm water to wash your face as it helps to open your pores, allowing the active ingredients in the soap enter into the skin and do its work. NEVER sleep with your makeup on, always wash it off.

Scrub Your Face

Scrubbing (aka exfoliating) allows for a younger skin that glows, it uses small particles or material to remove the old skin cells, making way for new cells. Scrub your face about 1 -3 times a week, especially when using an walnut or apricot (or other dermabrasion-based) scrub. However if using a jojoba-wax based scrub, you can use it daily (its very gentle).
Use warm water to wet your face, massage your face gently with the face scrub for about 1 minute, using circular motions, rinse off and dry your skin.

Moisturize Your Face

Even with oily or combination skin, ALWAYS use a moisturizer after washing or scrubbing your face. This helps to prevent the overproduction of oil by your skin which keeps it healthy and balanced. Choose a moisturizer specifically meant for the face and is suited to your skin type.

Drink Lots of Water and Eat Vegetables and Fruits

A healthy Diet is key to healthy skin, it ensures your body has the right nutrients it needs to repair itself, and water helps flush out toxins from your body. Don't forget to get lots of Beauty Sleep, at least 8 hours a day, yes, its possible. A well rested body functions better physically and mentally.

Try, Try and Try not to break those Pimples!

As tempting as it may seem, breaking pimples can make things worse, it spreads bacteria from on spot to the other, and leaves your face with scars - giving you black spots all over which doesn't look nice at all, especially when you are fair skinned. instead, keep a healthy skin by following the steps above, and if you already have scars you can speak to a dermatologist about what is appropriate to use for your skin type, or just leave them alone, they will eventually fade with time (they will).

You should start to see results in a few days or weeks, just keep it up and your skin will love you even more! But sometimes something may go wrong, if so, read on...

Watch out for Redness, Itching and Rashes
