Taking Care of Baby's Skin...:::

Keeping your baby's skin soft and healthy begins with understanding it's needs and unique characteristics. African baby skin is sensitive and can get dry, or have dark spots (hyper pigmentation). Within the first two to three weeks of life, baby's skin tends to get darker.
Bathing cleanses your baby's skin, but it also removes the natural oils the body produces from the skin, this can make the skin dry. Dry skin can become itchy and uncomfortable.

Until your baby is over 3 months of age, try not to use any product that contains fragrance since it may irritate the skin. The detergent you use for your baby's laundry should also be mild, and you will have to rinse it off thoroughly to avoid leaving behind any skin irritant. I usually rinse off a newborn's laundry 3 times after a wash.

Using a gentle moisturizer regularly can help soothe and protect baby's skin. You should use a product that does not contain alcohol or perfume since these can dry or irritate the skin.

The Pugtha Natural Baby Oil keeps your baby's skin needs at heart. It is a blend of natural skin-loving oils that have been naturally pressed to give you all of nature's power. It is composed of Avocado Oil, Sunflower Oil, Rice Bran Oil and Oat Extract. No fragrance is added, so this oil can be used to moisturize even newborn skin.

What's Inside the Bottle

Avocado Oil - This oil comes from the pulp of the avocado fruit. It is moisturizing and conditioning to the skin, and is rich in Vitamin A, B1 and B2 which helps with scaly, dry skin, and Vitamin D and E which acts as a natural sun-block, protecting the skin from Ultra-Violet rays. This oil is lovely for all skin types, especially dry and mature skin, but extremely good for sensitive skin.

Sunflower Oil - This oil is pressed from the seed of the Sun Flower, it is high in saturated fatty acids, helping the skin retain its moisture while conditioning it. It is know to be useful against acne, eczema, inflammation, redness and irritation of the skin.

Rice Bran Oil - Is expressed from the husks of Rice grains. Rich in fatty acids and Vitamin E, this oil is a light and offers the skin deep-moisturization as well as hydration. Rice Bran oil also conditions the skin.

Oat Extract - This is an additive for sensitive skin. Oat is moisturizing and acts as a barrier for the skin, helping to reduce itching and regulate inflammation. Oats are commonly added to warm water in the bath to soothe irritated, itchy skin.

How to Use

Apply Pugtha Natural Baby Oil to baby's skin after a bath, typically within 2 to 5 minutes after a bath to help lock in moisture and avoid dryness. Massage the oil into the skin.
You may use also on dry patches, like the keens, elbows and bottom throughout the day.
