Daily Face Regime...:::
All skin types (Normal, Oily, Dry, Sensitive or Combination) need the 3-Stage Daily Routine to remain clean, healthy and in the best condition. It consists of Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing.
This helps avoid breakouts, soothe blemishes and reduce the effect of the sun and aging.
Cleansing
This removes dirt, oil and bacteria from your face. You can start by applying a cream or gel cleanser on the face and neck, then massage with your finger tips. Use a cotton wool to clean off the cleanser and wash your face with a foaming face wash or other face washes, using warm water. Be sure to only use soaps made for the face, if the package does not say it is "for face and body" then it is not meant for your face. Face soaps are gentler and may help with blemishes.
For sensitive skin, avoid all soaps and use hypo-allergenic cleanser instead.
Toning
Toners remove any trace of dirt or the cleanser that may remain on the face after washing. They also tighten the pores while preventing a build up of dead skin cells. With sensitive skin especially, it is best to use toners without alcohols like ethanol, methane and isopropyl (check ingredients before you purchase!) Those with rose water or mineral water are better.
Drop some drops of the toner onto a cotton wool, and using gentle circular motions, clean your face and neck. Try not to drag on the skin and concentrate on the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin area) and avoid the delicate area around the eyes and lips.
Moisturizing
A good moisturizer helps balance the drying effects of the sun, wind, cold and pollution. A Day Cream should have an SPF (Sunscreen) and should be absorbed into the skin easily. While A Nigth Cream should be more nourishing as your skin readily absorbs moisture while you sleep, and restores itself.
Choose a moisturizer for your skin type, use your fingertips to apply a small amount to your face and neck while massaging in gentle circular motions.
Wait 5 minutes before applying make-up so your skin can absorb the nourishment, and so your makeup stays on for longer instead of gliding off the moisturizer.
For best result, follow these steps twice everyday, morning and evening. It may seem like a chore but trust me, once you get used to it you'll be happy with how healthy your skin looks and you don't have to spend so much on facial treatment...:::
